Yemeni lawyer warned on Twitter last month. Ibrahim Mothana for New York Times on the inefficiency of drone strikes: How Drones Help Al Qaeda.
Unfortunately, liberal voices in the United States are largely ignoring, if not condoning, civilian deaths and extrajudicial killings in Yemen — including the assassination of three American citizens in September 2011, including a 16-year-old. During George W. Bush’s presidency, the rage would have been tremendous. But today there is little outcry, even though what is happening is in many ways an escalation of Mr. Bush’s policies.
It’s amazing how the US government and general public fails to realize one basic truth: Violence begets violence.

Something that also bugs me is that if it was the other way around; Yemen dropping drones over the US & American children dying the whole world would do everything to stop it, I’m sure about that. It’s like these human beings don’t matter, why are their lives less worth in the eyes of the “general public”? I just don’t understand.
