Aggravated beyond belief at the ignorance I am witnessing right now. Someone from school actually just said to me “what’s the point anyway why are the Palestinians looking for a fight!?”
I can’t even begin to explain how completely ignorant that statement is. What’s the point?! WHAT’S THE POINT?! The point is that Palestinians are being killed and the United States is just watching it happen. The point is that thousands of Palestinians want their homes back. The point is that Palestinians are struggling for common freedoms. The list just goes on and on and the fact that someone who is uneducated about the topic thinks he’s proving a point is ridiculous. Honestly I can’t deal with ignorance anymore.
